[Injustice 2] Setting the Stage – Combo Breaker

Expect fireworks this weekend as the fighting game community journeys to Illinois for a tournament of epic proportions. Along with games such as Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Brothers, and Killer Instinct, Injustice 2 is making its first significant appearance on the tournament scene with a $20,000 dollar pot bonus. There are currently 367 registered participants expected to appear at Combo Breaker this weekend, and this includes players from the United States as well as overseas. With the game in its infancy, expect the unexpected as unseen and undiscovered characters will shine. There is a lot to look forward to this weekend with so much at stake for these players. Here’s a brief list of players expected to take part in the competition;


“A Year of Injustice” Documentary by Aerogrunt

Civil War VI marks the one-year anniversary of the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us. What better way to relive some of the most incredible moments over the past year than with a well-made documentary? I just finished watching this on Arturo Sanchez’s stream and I must say it was nostalgic and hilarious. From Black Adam and Superman being untouchable, to seeing Bane and Harley Quinn finishing top three at majors. This documentary features everything that we have loved and hated since Injustice came out a year ago. It features villains of the FGC, and some of the more lovable characters. A Year of Injustice recaps all of the blowups that one could imagine, and all of the polarizing moments that have taken place within the Injustice scene. In closing I would like to thank Aerogrunt, and everyone else involved in the production for putting together this documentary.
